I cannot imagine all those virile men in uniform with guns and batons, capturing, arresting, and handcuffing naked women and loading them into the paddy wagon. It would have made a splendid documentary film.

Mr. Song,

You seem very well schooled in communist propaganda. Were you raised in a radical commune? If this thread allowed other than left wing members, you could offend someone by saying "America's two capitalist parties of racism and war."

I think Cenk's point

He's not in the Trump camp. He's pointing out that the Dem machine is so pro Clinton that they prefer Trump to Sanders. Hillory is as comfortable as their dream boy, Bush. Then anything. Anything but Sanders, even if he can beat Trump. Sanders is change. Trump is just a wild card. Sanders is a nightmare.

Yikes. I see it the other way around. Sanders might spend us into a (deeper) hole, but Trump might get us into wars, make every other nation hate us (whether that matters or not), and generally "Jerry Springerize" the office of the President.

I don't see the problem with Trump

So what if he makes Jerry Springer VP ? The former mayor of Cincinnati, Springer can not possibly be worse than Palin. Let's face it, the bar has been set pretty low here.

Actually Trump is less hawkish than Hillory. Foreign countries will love us. Everyone loves Trump, just ask him. Geraldo can be his press secretary. Tap Hulk Hogan for defense. Paris Hilton for treasurer. The Kardasians could all be diplomats. The Rock can be in charge of public monuments, and Martha Steward will head the dept of Interior. Not only would Trump appoint only upstanding model citizens, most of them will be actual models. I mean, seriously, Janet Reno could be improved upon, the Clinton's were not good at this.

Ronald Reagan ("Ronny Ray-gun") was considered a joke by many when he first ran for president in 1976, then ran successfully in 1980. But the joke ended up being on the people.

When Trump talks about making deals, he's affirming the current winner-take-all economic model which is causing disaster here and all over the world. I'm not suggesting that Hillary would do better. One of her jobs as SOS was to sell fracking to foreign countries. But with Trump, U.S. style and U.S. substance seem to perfectly coincide. Ignorant, bellicose swagger embodied so perfectly in a man...sign of the end-times...

I believe they say Trump is most popular among uneducated white men. That is not the dem machine.

Some say Clinton will be the nominee but to assure success, she'll adopt Sanders' platform at the convention, which will probably happen.
